make aid even better

Halima waits in hospital with her daughter Suleka, who is suffering from pneumonia.

Tell Penny Mordaunt, the Secretary of State for International Development, that UK aid must help governments build health services which protect the poorest children, like Suleka.

In the world’s poorest countries children are dying from preventable diseases like pneumonia, often because there isn’t a doctor or nurse to treat them or there’s no medicine available. Where services do exist, families can struggle to pay for them and end up pushed into poverty.

When governments can't raise enough money for basic healthcare, support from a country like the UK is vital. By helping countries build up their tax systems to fund essential services, aid has the power to help poorer countries transform children’s futures. For good.

Tell the Secretary of State you want aid to work harder.
