In the Spring budget, the Chancellor is due to take more than £1,000 a year away from families on Universal Credit.

No child deserves to go hungry because the pandemic took their parent’s job away. Or miss out on learning because their family can’t afford a laptop for lockdown. Children should not bear the brunt of this crisis.

Urge your MP today to push the Government to keep the £20pw Universal Credit lifeline for at least another 12 months for families fighting poverty.

This pandemic is far from over, and families need long-term support so children can have stability.

Use your voice to make sure the £20 uplift is there for as long as families need support. And that it will be extended to those on the old benefits system who are missing out.

The Government wants to balance the books, but we can’t do it on the backs of those who need it most.
